BULKHEAD FITTING

• What is a bulkhead fitting?
• A bulkhead is a fitting that allows water to
  drain from a tank or reservoir via a hole. It
  creates a seal to keep water from leaking out and
  allows you to pipe water from the tank to
  wherever you need it.
• Bulkhead fittings keep liquids moving while also
  allowing drainage and other plumbing connections
  in a tank. These fittings can also be used as
  distribution outlets in a pipe system. Bulkhead
  fittings may link flexible pipes with male
  adapters and produce a continuous flow of water.
• Left-handed threads are common on these fittings,
  which aid in keeping the fitting intact and tight
  when inserting the male adaptor. Bulkhead
