• If your old fence was split down the middle, it
  is likely that the installation of a new one will
  be quite simple for you. If your old fence was
  not split from the middle, then please follow
  this article for instructions on how to install a
  new wood fence.

1. Install the Posts
Once you have made sure that your posts are
properly leveled, drive them into the ground.
This will be a lot easier if you have dug a bit
of earth from the bottom to give yourself some
room to work with. Nail your posts securely into
their bases. Make sure they are not leaning in
any way and make sure that they are pointing in
the direction that you want them to be pointing
in when your fence is finished.

2. Flatten the Ground
Take a leaf blower and blow away all the dirt
from the ground where your new fence will be
going. You want to get all of the rocks, dirt,
and sticks out from under your fence so that it
will not stick up above the ground when you have
finished putting it up.

4. Clean Up
As you clean up your work area, make sure that
you remove all of the nails that fell into the
ground. These will be much easier to remove
