Introduction
IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel
Selection. It is a government autonomous
recruitment body. IBPS conducts examinations
through common recruitment program for all Public
Sector Banks. It was founded in 1975 by A. S.
Deshpande
  • IBPS completes the hiring cycle for bank exams
    for four unique posts in particular
  • (I) Probationary Officer,
  • (ii) Clerk,
  • (iii) Regional Rural Banks Officers Scale 1, 2,
    3, Office Clerk and
  • (iv) Specialist Officer for Law, IT, HR,
    Management, Agricultural Field and Marketing
    Officer.
  • IBPS RRB Clerk comprises three stages of
    selection.
  • Preliminary Exam 
  • Main Exam
  • There is a single IBPS RRB Clerk application for
    all two stages however, separate admit cards are
    released for each exam.
  • Candidates need to clear the Preliminary Exam
    successfully. A preliminary exam is a qualifying
    exam for the further stages of the selection
    process. Successful candidates will be called to
    attend the Main Exam. Then, They would be given
    jobs on a provisional basis based on their
    performance in the Main Examination and the
    vacancies reported by the RRBs.

  • Enter name, phone number, email id, and security
    code
  • Upon successful registration, a provisional
    registration number and password are generated
  • The provisional registration number and password
    are also sent to the registered email ID.
  • Step 2 Upload Photo and Signature
  • Post-registration, candidates need to upload the
    signature, photograph, handwritten declaration,
    and left thumb impression.
  • Signature in bold letters are not acceptable 
  • The impression of the left thumb should be
    accurately scanned and not smudged.
  • The handwritten declaration should be in English
    only
