Payam Nia obtained a PhD in mechanical
engineering from Northeastern University. Payam M
Nia 's a senior mechatronics design engineer with
a background in complex dynamics, robotics, and
controls.

Payam M Nia research focuses on the
mechanical/mechatronics architecture of
semiconductor production equipment. Motion and
vibration control, control algorithm development,
and robotics are all areas of interest for him.

For more than ten years, Payam Nia has worked on
multi-body dynamics, linear and nonlinear systems
modeling, sensor and actuator design, and sensor
fusion. Payam Nia knows the project lifecycle
