Liquid matte lipstick tips for beginners

How to Wear Matte Lipstick It's all about
skill. It may seem counterintuitive, but summer
is the ideal season to go matte with your makeup.
Because your skin is at its driest, a more matte
finish may appear quite stylish. The main issue
is that if you don't use the right techniques,
matte lipstick might seem antiquated rather than
trendy. That is not cute. Not sure how to do it
correctly? Follow these simple steps

• 1. Gently exfoliate your lips.
• Dry, dead skin is frequently what causes your
  lipstick to seem harsh and inconsistent, so peel
  it off before applying any colour (I always go
  for a great hot pink lipstick). You may exfoliate
  your lips with a sugar scrub or a soft bristle
  toothbrush.
• 2. Pour in some water.
• Apply a mild lip balm or hydrating lotion to your
  lips next. It fills up any crevices, allowing
  your matte lipstick or liquid matte lipstick to
  apply smoothly and evenly.
• 3. Apply the remainder of your makeup.
• Don't apply matte lipstick straight immediately!
  If you do, the end result will be too creamy.
  Instead, finish the remainder of your makeup to
  allow your lips to soak the moisturizer you just
  applied. Keep in mind that if you select a bright
  hue, you should keep your makeup basic for the
  day. If you want to go out, you can always apply
  a nice smokey eye afterwards.
• I used pink matte lipstick. If you buy liquid
  lipstick online, make sure to buy waterproof
  matte liquid lipstick.
• 4. Apply lip liner to get the desired shape.
• Because matte lipstick is sometimes very opaque,
  it is hard to get rid of and redo without hurting
  or colouring your skin, so do it right the first
  time. Using lip liner before applying matte
  lipstick guarantees that you have lines to

• 5. Use your matte lipstick to complete the look.
• Whether you're applying it straight from the
  container or with a lip brush, try to be as
  accurate as possible.
• 6. Using a piece of toilet paper, blot your
  lips.
• This gets rid of any extra colour or gloss. While
  a tissue or paper towel may suffice, a tiny piece
  of toilet paper will leave the fewest fibres on
  your lips in my experience.
