boast.  This option allows you to set the robot
vacuum to clean at certain points of the day. You
might set it to have finished just in time for
when you get home from work so you can come back
to a clean and happy home. Furthermore, you can
use preset programs and timers to make sure that
the entire job is done.

• Robot vacuums are only useful for one floor of
  the house. They cannot climb stairs, so you may
  need to keep hold of your traditional vacuum to
  tackle these areas of the home. While some robot
  vacuums were previously unable to get into
  corners, many of the newer models come with a
  feature that allows them to access all corners of
  a room. 
• While a robot vacuum will do most of the work for
  you, there is the issue of having to make sure
  that the floor is clear. If there are things like
  socks or small toys on the floor, these will get
  sucked up by the vacuum and this means that it
  could become blocked. 
• Since the robotic vacuum is much smaller than
  other types, the dust container is also smaller.
  This means that you will need to empty it more
  frequently. 
• There are some robot vacuums whose mapping system
  means that they struggle with patterned carpets.
  You may find that they will clean the patterned
  areas but stop at any blocks of colour thinking
  that this is the end of the carpet.
