About EDII
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India
(EDII), an autonomous and not-for-profit
institute, set up in 1983, is promoted by apex
financial institutions the IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI
Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd. and the State Bank of India
(SBI), with support from the Government of
Gujarat. The Government of Gujarat pledged 23
acres of land on which stands the majestic and
sprawling EDII campus.

PGDM Entrepreneurship
The PGDM-E two-year, full-time programme at the
EDII, now in its 23rd batch of delivering
entrepreneurship education, has been designed
specifically for entrepreneurs and
entrepreneurial managers to encourage critical
and lateral thinking, nurture their ambitions,
and enable new ventures through an academically
rigorous, directly relevant and highly practical
learning experience. The course is offered
through six trimesters over two years.

PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship Venture
Development (IEV)
Its an AICTE approved two years full time
programme which provides knowledge and skills
necessary for development of ideas into
sustainable business opportunities and to foster
technology based innovation into your business.
Throughout your programme, our academics equips
you with knowledge in innovative leadership,
financial skills for entrepreneurs, how to
navigate the complexities of innovation and
entrepreneurship, business innovation planning,
and creating and marketing new products. You
understand how to raise capital and gain detailed
knowledge of the complexities of initiating,
developing, managing and exploiting innovation.

Fellowship Programme in Management
Against the backdrop that the country needs
entrepreneurs to ensure economic development and
to create job opportunities, it is only prudent
to introduce research programmes in
entrepreneurship education to create scholars and
thought leaders who can in turn, promote
entrepreneurship widely.
With this objective, EDII launched the
first-of-its-kind, Fellowship Programme in
Management with emphasis on entrepreneurship in
year 2014. The Institute is announcing the
seventh batch, i.e. 2020-24, of the said doctoral
level programme.
