Pack your bike in a travel case
Many airlines now allow cyclists to pack their
bikes inside of a hardshell travel case. If
youre concerned about the appearance of your
bike and willing to pay extra, this is probably
the best way to fly. However, not everyone wants
to lug around a big plastic bag when traveling
and it could even be prohibited by certain bus
companies as well.

Pack small items in zip lock bags
When packing tools, spares and any other small
items, always put them into a zip-lock bag first.
This will help to prevent dirt from seeping onto
your possessions as well as make them easier to
identify when you need something quickly. If you
