Introduction
Mental health is an important subject. We believe
that everyone should be given access to the
relevant information, so they can make an
informed decision about consent. This is
something that the Citizens Commission on Human
Rights (CCHR) in Georgia can help you with. We
want to help those who have been affected by
psychiatric practices, like electroshock therapy.
The CCHR has been going for over 50 years. During
this time, our group has had many successes.
First, we have expanded around the world. These
psychiatry problems arent isolated to the United
States. It is quickly becoming a global problem.
Because of this, we have started groups in
34 countries around the world.

What we do?

• The CCHR of Atlanta, Georgia is a non-profit
  group. We aim to act as a Georgia-chapter
  watchdog for those who have been affected by
  psychiatric abuses or practices. To do this, we
  use a wide network of professionals. We can
  consult with lawyers, doctors, artists, business
  professionals, and legislators. This ensures that
  we can take a strong stance against things like
  ECT. We advocate our positions based on what
  would be best for patients, not for the
  billion-dollar drug companies.
