• Chloroprene gasket This rubber gasket is made
  from the first known synthetic rubber called

  costlier than natural rubber and dont do their
  job well at low temperatures.
• Silicone gasket Silicone gaskets are well
  suited for both high and low temperatures due to

  extremely low temperatures, silicone is used in
  gaskets meant for colder regions like the Arctic.
  The only drawback is that these gaskets are
  costlier than most others.
• EPDM gasket EPDM rubber is quite popular due to
  its ability to withstand harsh weather
  conditions, insulation and mechanical properties
  at extreme temperatures. It is even resistant to
  acids, alcohol and other solvents.
