Director ngelo Torres' film Sea and the Jungle
takes a look at the Angolare people of So Tomé,
who are said to be descendants of Angolan slaves.
Although the 50-minute documentary isn't very
cinematic, Torres makes an amazing effort to
create a film that depicts a world we've never
