New Zealand to eligible engineers. In Australia
CPEng status is given by Engineers Australia. On

stage 2 competency Standard criteria gets the

The most common way to become a Professional
Engineer is to get a four- year (BE) engineering
degree and work as a BE graduate. After getting

demonstrate competence as a Professional
Engineer and can gain registration as a
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng
registration).
