  • When it comes to the requirements for NDIS
    service access, there can be several conditions
    that can affect your eligibility criteria. There
    can be a specific set of disability needs and
    requirements depending on age, residency, and the
    scale of disability. Especially when it comes to

    challenged people, the condition can be even more

  • If you are looking to join the NDIS service
    program, you need to fill out an Access Request
    form to start with. Here you will be dealing with
    a few papers, also youll have to submit your
    background details for NDIA (National Disability
    Insurance Agency) to check in and assess your
    eligibility for the National Disability Insurance
    Scheme.
  • Age You must be under 65 years
  • To be eligible for the NDIS services you must be
    between 7 and 65 years old at the time of the
    National Disability Insurance Agency verification
    process /time when you submit your request. It's
    as simple as that.

  • To be eligible for the NDIS services, one must
    meet and maintain the following residential
    requirements or else your NDIS plan can get

  • You must be an Australian Resident
  • You must have a permanent visa
  • You must hold a protected Special Category Visa
    (SCV)
  • SCV is a temporary Visa that is given to New
    Zealand Citizens. For the NDIS plan, your SCV
    must be under the protected category. Also, if
    you are an Australian citizen you may have to
    present some strong evidence to support the same
    as property ownership documents or long-term
    tenancy papers. You may also be asked presently
    in some details about the number of times you
    travel overseas and the duration of your visit if
    asked for further clarification.

  • For NDIS plan eligibility you must be under the
    following situations-
  • You have a disability that disrupts your certain
    daily tasks.
  • You have one or more sensory, neurological,
    intellectual, physical, or psychological
    disabilities.
  • You need a continuous NDIS plan support for the
    rest of your life. Also applicable to people with
    various scales of disabilities and recurring
    chronic matters.
  • You have a permanent disability.

  • Early Intervention Needs
  • The early intervention requirements are meant to
    meet the peoples support needs as early as
    possible. This is specially designed for people
    who at times may not meet all the disability
    requirement conditions but are still legit
    eligible for the NDIS plan access.
  • To be eligible for early intervention and NDIS
    plan access one must have a permanent disability
    or be likely to have one in future, which
    includes-
  • Cognitive issues
  • Rare degenerative conditions
  • Neurological problems
  • Intellectual issues
  • Sensory impairments
  • Physical disabilities

    development delay problems

    response from NDIS within 21 days of submission.
    Once your request is approved you will need to
