- CLAT Entrance Exam 2022-Common-Law Admission Test
usually known as CLAT is a national level
entrance examination conducted by the Consortium
for candidates seeking admission in UG and PG
packages offered via 22 National Law institutes.
Not only the NLUs but also various private and
self-financed regulation universities in India
consider the CLAT ratings. - The registration form or enrolment and the
admission procedure for the Common Law Admission
Test 2022 - The application form for the CLAT Entrance Exam
2022 has been released. The candidates that want
to take admission to the law courses offered by
the NLUs can register themselves online. They
are required to fill out the application form
latest by 31st March. The CLAT 2022 will take
place on 8th May 2022. The admission process for
the CLAT 2022 is given below - Application form The candidates are required to
fill out the application - or registration form before the 31st March 2022.
They have to fill in their personal details like
the name, contact details, etc. They also have to
fill in their exam center choice, upload their
documents, and pay the fees for the application
to the CLAT Entrance Exam 2022. - Release of admit card and commencement of the
exam The admit card for the CLAT 2022 entrance
exam will be declared some weeks prior to the
commencement of the examination. The CLAT
Entrance Exam 2022 is arranged to be held on 8th
May 2022. For the applicants, the admit card
will be available as soon as it is provided by
the Consortium. In addition to this, the answer
key for the examination will also be declared
two or three days after the examination is
conducted. - Counseling and admission process The counseling
of the candidates will be held after the results
are out and the admission process for the same
will be started.
2Important dates for the CLAT 2022
- The CLAT 2022 is planned to be held on eighth May
2022. Crucial dates for the CLAT Entrance
Examination 2022 are listed beneath as provided
through the Consortium of NLUs - 26th December 2021 Information for the CLAT
Entrance Examination was announced. - 1st January 2022 The commencement of the
application or registration form was started and
the candidates can fill out the form. - 31st March 2022 The last date for the
candidates to fill out the application or
registration form. No candidate will be able to
fill it after the date. - 3rd week of April 2022 The admit card for the
applicants will be released and they can
download the same as it will be needed at the
time of the examination. - 8th May 2022 The CLAT Entrance Exam 2022 will
be conducted. It is planned to be held between 3
pm to 5 pm IST. - 2nd week of May 2022 The provisional answer key
and the final answer key for the CLAT Entrance
Exam 2022 will be released. The candidates can
cross-check their - answers and have an idea of their results.
- The commencement of the counseling for the
candidates and the process of admission for the
selected candidates is yet to be notified by the

3Subject-wise syllabus for the CLAT Entrance exam
- The subject-wise syllabus for the different
subjects for the Common Law Admission Test
(CLAT) Entrance Examination 2022 is given below - English Language The English Language generally
consists of passages of around four hundred to
five hundred words which are based on fictional
and non-fictional stories about different topics
like contemporary topics, historical
significance, etc. - General Knowledge and Current Affairs The
general knowledge along with the current affairs
section mostly consists of the current affairs
based on the national and international news.
The topics include art and culture, contemporary
events, historical events, etc. - Legal Reasoning The legal reasoning section
consists of the topics related to law and legal
problems. For example, the law of contracts, the
law of torts, family law, etc. It is used to
test the general awareness and the ability to
apply and identify the rules and principles. - Logical Reasoning The logical reasoning section
consists of questions based on general reasoning
questions like the sets and rules, arguments,
puzzles, blood relation, statements and
arguments, statements and conclusions, etc. - Quantitative Analysis The quantitative analysis
section consists of different problems related
to general Mathematics. It includes topics like
graphs, diagrammatic representations, ratios,
proportions, etc. It is based on the mathematics
of class 11th and 12th.
4The pattern of CLAT Entrance Exam
The Common Law Admission Test is a national-level
entrance examination for aspirants that want to
opt for law as their career. They can opt for the
Common Law Admission Test for admission to 22
distinct National Law Universities and several
different private universities. The CLAT exam
has a complete of a hundred and fifty questions
that are disbursed amongst 5 distinctive
sections which are the English language, general
knowledge which includes current affairs, legal
reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative
analysis. The English section consists of 28 to
32 questions. The general knowledge and current
affairs section consist of 35 to 39 questions.
The legal reasoning section consists of 35 to 39
questions. The logical reasoning section consists
of 28 to 32 questions and the Quantitative
analysis section consists of around 13 to 17
questions that sum up to form a total of 150
questions. Each question holds one
mark. Eligibility criteria for the CLAT Entrance
Examination 2022
- The Eligibility criteria for the applicants that
want to give in the CLAT Entrance Exam 2022 were
given by the Consortium of NLUs. The applicants
are required to - comply with those instructions so as to provide
the entrance test. The eligibility criteria are
as follows - The candidates ought to have exceeded Class 12
(102) or an equal exam from an identified board
or group. - Candidates performing in the qualifying exam in
March/April 2022 also are eligible to appear in
CLAT 2022. Such candidates might be required to

qualifications at the time of CLAT counseling
and admission process, failing which, their
admission might be canceled. - The candidate should have secured at least
forty-five percent average marks in the
qualifying examination (102) or an equivalent
grade. - SC and ST category candidates have to be at ease
with a minimum of forty percent marks or
equivalent grades in their qualifying exam. - There are no restrictions for the candidates on
the basis of age. Any - candidate of any age group can apply for the CLAT
