• For the walkers Blue Ocean Apartment offers
  endless options for anyone seeking an aquatic
  outlook. 
• The best option is what I call the Currumbin Loop
  or Blue Ocean Loop.  This walk starts out the
  front of the complex and is visible from the
  balcony.  You head south down this pathway and
  essentially keep following it through the Palm
  Beach Parklands area and then on through the
  nature reserve area complete with bush turkys and
  butterflys, then on along the Boardwalk through
  the wetlands area heading up Currumbin River. 
  The Boardwalk offers great river front vistas up
  the river with hinterland views beyond.  When the
  tide is in and the wetland area imersed in fresh
  seawater you can see many small fish swiming
  along and under the suspended walkway and
  occasionally a larger one swims under you, it can
  be a real novelty for the littleones.
• Where the boardwalk ends turn left and follow the
  pathway markings along and under the Thrower
  Drive bridge and on past the skateboard activity
  park and then on past the Palm Beach Currumbin
  Sports Club and over a small bridge which leads
  to the walkway over the Currumbin River next to
  and parrallel to the Currumbin River freeway
  overpass.

• This bridge walkway takes you to the carpark area
  of the Currumbin RSL Club that sits on the banks
  of the River.  This is were you turn back towards
  home so just follow the path back along the river
  past the RSL Club, and on past the Rowing club
  sheads and then on to " The Boatshed"  here you
  will find a coffee shop and Paddleboard and Kayak
  hire business.
