coat is needed for this step, and two coats are
better.
5Temperatures
Temperatures over 85 degrees can cause varnish
to set up too fast and cause bubbles and brush
marks. If you must work outside, wear a
dust-free hair- covering and bring plenty of
clean tack cloth.
6Additives
The majority of boat varnishes contain various
additives for UV protection. These ingredients
are not particularly important to most sailors,
but they should be considered if you're planning
