  • The era of isolated medical practices, data, and
patient records is coming to an unavoidable end
as modern healthcare customers have higher
expectations for their patient experiences than
ever before. According to Amira Islamagic, during
the past ten years, trends have evolved that have
shown us where healthcare is heading. Mobility is
the key. Providers are better able to increase
staff productivity and patient satisfaction when
they adopt mobile healthcare technology as part
    of their digital transformation plan.

  • Delivery of Healthcare is Changing Rapidly
  • The provision of healthcare is evolving in
several ways, from the resurgence of house calls
    to mobile Health applications, wearable
    technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI)
that enable us to monitor patients from a
    distance.
  • In chain shops around the nation, retail clinics
are sprouting, making it easier for people to
    consult with medical professionals.
  • Healthcare delivery is clearly changing quickly,
but why is this the case in the first place?
  • Healthcare firms used to prioritise efficiency,
compliance, and cost savings. The live, breathing
individual who choose to utilise (or not use) a
healthcare service is another issue that needs to
be taken into account, even though those other
    variables are unquestionably still important.

5
  • Organizations must prioritise the patient, who is
now referred to as the consumer, as a result of
the consumerization of healthcare. This entails
emphasising ease, service, accessibility to care,
and a variety of other factors that contribute to
the overall "customer experience." If you make
even one mistake, the customer will go elsewhere
    to do business.
  • Too frequently, healthcare practitioners are so
preoccupied with projecting the "future" that
they lose sight of the here and now. Whether or
not companies are prepared for the transition,
    mobile technology and consumerization have
    propelled healthcare forward.

  • What Is Healthcare Mobile Innovation?
  • The use of portable electronics in medicine, such
as cell phones and patient monitoring equipment,
is known as mobile healthcare technology. In
    summary, everything from electronic health
records (EHRs) to home healthcare is included in
    mobile healthcare technology.
  • As far as technology is concerned, change is the
only constantand healthcare technology is no
exception. With more than 7 billion mobile phones
in the world, and more than 70 of those in low-
    or middle- income countries, healthcare
organizations can treat patients in parts of the
    world they previously couldnt access.

8
Today, we have mobile Health apps that can
monitor a patients vital signs remotely, AI
technology that can diagnose asthma just by
listening to a patient breathe, and
interoperable software that can instantly send
and receive real-time information across multiple
providers and platforms. Existing technology is
currently enabling service during the COVID-19
pandemic, and the results are shaping how
patients will be serviced moving forward.
Amira Islamagic asserts that mobile technology
has made it simpler than ever to bring the
patient to the treatment rather than the other
way around. The technology is now available to
meet healthcare consumers wherever it is
convenient for them, whether it be through actual
encounters with patients in their homes or
through the use of telemedicine.
