Introduction
  • The Silver Buffalo Series is one of the Asahi
Mint's most victorious series. Silver Buffalo
coins are very popular and collectible coins.
Gold Buffalo Coins are special limited proof
coins that are among the most popular goods
manufactured by the United States Mint. Based on
the extremely popular Type I Buffalo nickel,
these coins were revived as the United States
Mint's first 24-karat gold proof currency.

History
  • The American buffalo (Bison), often known as the
American Bison, is a North American bison
species. The buffalo is an essential member and
icon of North American wilderness, having
traditionally been seen in a wide, virtually
    pan-continental range.

1500s 1830 1860 1870 1872-1874 1884
North America is home to an estimated 30-60 million bison, the most of which live on the flat lands. The hunting of bison begins. The railroad's construction amplifies human population and bison death. In one year, an estimated 2 million are died on the southern plains. Every day for the next three years, an estimated of 5000 bison were murdered. This is 5.4 million bison murdered in three years. The bison population gets an all-time low. There are around 325 wild bison left in the U.s, with 24 in Yellowstone.
