How sandblasting is done?

• The first step of sandblasting is pouring sand
  into the sandblasting machine. On top of
  sandblasting machines is a chamber where the sand
  is put.
• The sandblasting machine is then hooked up to a
  regular air compressor.
• When the compressor is turned on, the sand is
  pushed out of a handheld nozzle. Depending on the
  settings, the sand can have anywhere from 50 to
  130 pounds per square inch of pressure (PSI).
