How To Get An MBA Degree Without Student Debt?
2
INTRODUCTION
Unless you have always been planning to get an
MBA degree for a long time and have decades
worth of savings dedicated to funding your MBA
tuition fee, financing your degree is not going
to be as straightforward. Take Mahek for example,
the daughter of a government employee who has
been working in the corporate sector for about 3
years, recently decided to get an MBA degree to
scale up in her career. But Mahek has no savings
to fund her education costs. Mahek knows that
taking a student loan is not the best option
because of the pressure of repayment.

Scholarships
There are quite a few ways in which students can
get a partial or full scholarship for their MBA
degree. Though getting a scholarship involves
convincing others why you need the scholarship
more than anyone else, a variety of scholarships
have been made available to students based on
different criteria. Let's look at some ways you
can get a scholarship for your MBA degree.
4
Scholarship From Your Educational Institution
  • Merit-Based Scholarships
  • Most top b schools offer to fund MBA for students
with a high GMAT score, great academic track
    record or work experience.
  • Sometimes students even have to crack scholarship
exams to get a waiver for their tuition fees.
These are often called merit-based scholarships.
  • The eligibility criteria and requirements for
these scholarships will depend on the institute
you are applying for an MBA. Therefore it is
always best to check the official website of the
MBA institute or directly contact the admissions
office of the college to find out about the
types of academic scholarships they provide.

5
Inclusivity Scholarships Every MBA college out
there is competing to become the best business
school there is to exist. One way they showcase
their diversity, ethics and values to stand out
from the competition is by providing
scholarships to students who come from
marginalised backgrounds or have unusual
circumstances. Youll often come across such
inclusivity scholarships that are given on the
basis of gender, total family income, and
ethnicity, among other factors. Similar to
merit-based scholarships, the eligibility
criteria and requirements also vary for each
institute and it is best to get in touch with
the colleges admissions office to get insight
into your eligibility.
