FOUNDER CEO
Unity Care Founder CEO, André V. Chapman, has
built a mission around supporting the
underserved youth in foster care. Based in San
Jose, California, his organization has served
tens of thousands of youths and families over
28 years providing housing and support services.
Mr. Chapman launched Covid19-Black to address
the impact of the coronavirus and reduce the
spread of the disease within the African
Ancestry community.

André V. Chapman left a successful career as the
National Director of Sales in 1999 as he became
disheartened by the lack of other minorities in
the technology field. Seeking systemic changes to
level the playing field, he created Unity Care
Group in 1993, Inc. to address the inadequately
met needs of foster youth.

André V. Chapman began his career as a sales
associate and worked his way into a position as
the National Director of Sales for a tech firm
in Silicon Valley. During his career in the tech
industry, he founded Unity Care Group, Inc.
which would change his focus and professional
mission. He continues to spearhead efforts to
create access and opportunities for foster youth
and other underserved populations. He is a
community leader in San Jose, California.

California, where he continues to develop his
professional skills and is a Fellow of the
American Leadership Forum. He founded Unity Care
Group, Inc. over 28 years ago, and he is the
current CEO. He received his Bachelor of Science
in Business degree from San Jose State
University. Mr. Chapman is active in professional
groups which promote fundraising and event
management.
