What is the Easiest Way to Get the Glory of the
Raider in WotLK Classic?
Glory of the Raider achievement first appeared in
WotLK which makes sense since it was the first
expansion to feature achievements. Hence its
deemed the OG raider glory and having unlocked
it before nerfs shows how experienced you are as
a raider. Simply put, its cool to have it.
However, in the retail WoW it can easily be
achieved by virtually anyone who has reached the
max level. WotLK raids there are not much of a
challenge anymore. Especially the starter ones,
which you should visit for the OG glory
achievements. Namely, they are Naxxramas,
Obsidian Sanctum, and the Eye. As you can guess,
in the Classic version of the game those raids
are way more difficult. Even just completing
them without any hardmodes is a true display of
skill. Doing all those achievements at the boss
fights easily puts you into the legendarium of
your realm. And not just that you can receive 2
exclusive and

time-limited rewards, the Plagued and Black
Proto-Drakes for completing the meta achievement
before the Ulduar update is released. Its highly
likely that in the Classic WotLK it will take
less time for it to come out. So hurry up! But
first take a look at this brief guide on how to
do it all fast and without extra hassle. Which
Achievements Do I Need to Complete for the
Glory? There are 16 achievements to complete for
this Glory. They are unevenly spread across the
3 aforementioned raids Naxxramas has 10
achievements, the Eye of the Eternity 4, and
the Obsidian Sanctum 2. You can get the idea of
the difficulty of those raids judging by those
numbers. Naxxramas is the longest and hardest
one. The Eye of the Eternity is quite small and
the Obsidian Sanctum is even smaller than that.
Lets take a closer look at the
achievements. Which Naxxramas Achievements do I
Need to Complete for the Glory?
First, the Naxxramas ones. Its a really large
raid with 15 bosses. There were plenty of
opportunities for the developers to add various
hard modes to boss fights and so on. Luckily,
not all of those extra challenges became
requirements for the Glory of the Raider
achievement. Just 10 did. Lets see which ones.

Defeat the boss fast. This category includes 3
achievements that are given for players who
defeat a particular boss within a short time
period. The ideal example of that is the
achievement Make quick werk of him you simply
need to kill Pathwerk fast. The timer starts
right after the boss pull. Another achievement of
that kind is Arachnophobia you gotta defeat
Maexxna soon after killing AnubArak. Those
bosses are close to each other so the timer
starts when AnubArak is down make haste to
get to Mexxna and fight her! And one more
achievement of this sort is And they would all
go down together you need to defeat the 4
horsemen and each of them must die within 15
seconds from another one. For example, you kill
1 horseman and the 15 second timer starts if
you have managed to down another horseman within
that time, the timer restarts and you have 15
more seconds to finish another one. This
achievement is rather hard and you have to
calculate your raid teams damage in such a way
that all 4 bosses have their HP at a low level
simultaneously. Lots of coordination. Defeat the
boss with fewer players. This section has 2
achievements. The first one is Subtraction.
Its fairly doable you need to defeat Thaddius
with fewer people than the raid format allows.
For example, if youre doing the 10-player Naxx,
you should defeat the boss with 8 people or less.
Thaddius is a rather tough boss so its not
exactly a piece of cake. But its definitely
easier than The dedicated few. It wants you to
defeat all the bosses of the raid with fewer
players. Insane. Defeat the boss without doing
something. This category has 3 achievements.
Momma said knock you out demands killing
Faerlina without preventing frenzy with any
interruptions or something like that. Youll have
to figure out how to deal with that effect
without avoiding it. Not exactly too hard but
still something to think about for casual
guilds. Shocking! takes us back to Thaddius and
this time it wants us to defeat the boss without
any player of the raid crossing negative and
positive charges. And the final one in this
category is The safety dance which gives us a
pretty straightforward task defeat Heigan the
Unclean with no deaths in your team.

2 more achievements are harder to categorize.
The hundred club is a real headache and it
asks you to defeat Sapphrion without any players
having 100 frost resistance. Whoever has fought
this frostwyrm knows that pumping up your frost
resistance is one of the key points of
preparations for the fight. Well, not this time.
And finally theres Just cant get enough that
requires defeating KelThuzard after killing 18
abomiantions in his chamber. This achievement
basically tests your teams resilience. You gotta
have a really well-geared team for it. Which
EOEs Achievements Are Required for the Glory?
The Eye of the Eternity is not really much of a
raid. It has only one boss, Maligos, and the
fight with him is not very challenging. It
becomes more challenging with some of these
achievements though. The first one must be the
simplest Glory achievement The spellweavers
downfall. For it you just have to defeat Malygos
and thats it.

It gets more complicated with 2 other
achievements A poke in the eye and You dont
have an eternity. The former requires you to
defeat Malygos with fewer players and the latter
within a short timeframe. The last remaining
Eye's achievement is called Denyin the scion
and heres how you do it. During the fight with
Malygos you gotta wait till the phase that has
additional mobs flying around the room on small
discs. Down one of them and hijack the disc.
While standing on it, defeat another mob and you
get the achievement. It has its own
peculiarities you must deliver the final blow,
not just throw a DOT and wait till the target
dies. So make sure to do just that. Which
Obsidian Sanctum Achievements Are Necessary for
the Glory?
Luckily, there are just 2 achievements required
for the Glory in the Obsidian Sanctum.
Unfortunately, The twilight zone is hell of an
achievement and it will take a team of really,
really well-prepared troopers to pull it. You
have to defeat Sartharion with 3 other mini
bosses still alive. Guess what? As you start the
fight with Sarthtarion, those 3 mini bosses will
join in. You will have to take on 4 bosses at
once. Yes, thats hard, but the rewards are well
worth it. This is the only achievement in the
Glory of the Raider that grants you an additional
reward the titles of the Nightfall and
Twilight Vanquisher for 10- and 25-people mode
respectively. Also, defeating Sarhtarion3
returns a dragon mount in the loot. One for the
raid though, so not everyone will get it.

Another achievement from the OS required for the
Glory is Gonna go when the volcano blows. It
takes killing Sartharion without getting hit by a
lava strike. Its much easier, although also
tricky. What Are the Rewards for the WotLK Glory
of the Raider? 2 beautiful proto-drakes await
the heroes who have managed to collect all those
achievements. The Plagued Proto-Drake and the
black Proto-Drake. They are legends. What makes
them so great is their absolute unavailability.
After Ulduar got released, the mounts were
removed from the game. The Plagued Proto- Drake
made a comeback later as a black market auction
lot. But as you can guess, not everyone can buy
it for several millions. Several often rise up to
10, by the way, so you got the idea. The black
proto is nowhere to be seen, it hasnt been
added to the BMAH in the retail WoW. So it can
only be found in the collection of hardcore
raiders who were around in the WotLK times. How
do I Get this Glory Fast? There are just two
options. You either raid day and night with your
guild and become really good. Good enough to do
all those insane challenges listed above. Or you
just get some help from professionals. Naturally,

their entire days on the game. Yes, sometimes we
