Requirements to Start an Engineering Consultancy
in Dubai

• In order to be properly classified, a company
  that registers as an overseas branch in Dubai
  must provide thorough information about the work
  activities of the parent company over the
  previous 15 years.
• The general manager of the engineering
  consultancy firm must be both a national of the
  country where the parent company is based and an
  engineer with a minimum of 15 years of
  experience.
• Each activity listed on the trading license must
  be handled by an engineer with at least 15 years
  of experience.
• Become a member of the UAE Society of Engineers
• The business setup application must be handled by
  a local agent appointed by the overseeing
  company. The local agent must have been born and
  raised in Dubai.
