The standard protocol test known as AATCC 30 test
is used to assess the effectiveness of
fungicide-impregnated textiles.
Textiles are protected from mildew and rot by
applying antifungal finishes to them.
All of these textiles, including cotton, rayon,
nylon, silk, wool, linen, polyester, co-acrylic,
spandex, viscose, sandbags, tarpaulins, tents,
and so on, can be tested using the AATCC 30
method.
