Title: Agile Advisors: A Carbon Footprint Consultancy
1Agile Advisors A Carbon Footprint Consultancy
2Carbon Footprint The demand for improved energy
efficiency and carbon emission reduction rises as
businesses strive to cut operational costs and
protect the environment. The carbon footprint
concept is used to quantify the overall
greenhouse gas emissions that an individual,
group, event, or product is accountable for, both
directly and indirectly. The amount of carbon
dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) emitted by an
individual is measured in tonnes (tCO2e). All six
of the greenhouse gases listed in the Kyoto
Protocol are taken into account when calculating
a person's carbon footprint hydrofluorocarbons
(HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), nitrous oxide
(N2O), sulphur hexafluoride, carbon dioxide
(CO2), methane (CH4), and (SF6). How big a
carbon footprint is it? The phrase "carbon
footprint" is now frequently used as an acronym
to describe how much carbon (typically measured
in tonnes) a particular activity or organisation
releases into the environment. Due to competition
with other demands for biologically productive
land, the carbon footprint represents a sizeable
portion of the ecological footprint. Carbon
emissions When fossil fuels are used, carbon
emissions are produced. If there is not enough
biocapacity to absorb these emissions, the
emissions accumulate in the atmosphere. As a
result, when reporting the carbon footprint as
part of the overall ecological footprint, tonnes
of CO2 emissions are indicated as the productive
land area required to sequester those CO2
emissions. This reveals the biocapacity necessary
to offset the emissions caused by using fossil
fuels.
3The measurement of carbon accumulation When the
carbon footprint is stated in terms of land area,
it is not accurate to say that carbon
sequestration is the only method of addressing
the carbon issue. Simply put, it demonstrates the
enormity of the biocapacity required to handle
our untreated carbon waste and prevent
atmospheric carbon buildup. With this measuring
tool, we can approach the climate change problem
holistically rather than simply shifting the
burden from one natural system to
another. Additionally, this paradigm links the
present environmental issues together and places
climate change inside that framework. It also
makes the self-interest of taking action much
more apparent. We may handle all of the symptoms
of a problem by focusing on it rather than
addressing one issue at the expense of
another. Our role as a carbon footprint
consulting firm Agile Advisors, a carbon
footprint consultancy, is working on "carbon
footprint" projects to ascertain their
contributions to the global warming issue in
light of the growing concern about the effects of
climate change and the role that carbon emissions
play as a contributing element. Through the use
of the protocol definitions for carbon registers,
we can examine their carbon footprints. Although
the scope of these requirements varies, we, as a
carbon footprint consultancy often advise
concentrating more on determining only direct
emissions from purchased energy and less on
supplier chain emissions. On the other hand,
there are methods for monitoring total emissions
across the supply chain based on particular
environmental life-cycle assessment approaches.
According to experience, using methodologies for
estimating that are too strictly specified will
often result in considerable underestimations of
the carbon emissions related to producing
products and services.
4- How may we be of help?
- We at Agile Advisors, a carbon footprint
consultancy, provide a comprehensive service
based on your company's demands. Our engineers
look at how much energy a specific project or
your complete business uses will have an impact
on carbon emissions. We also draw attention to
additional economic opportunities provided by the
shift to a low-carbon economy. - We can help your business in the following ways,
as examples - Evaluations of each project's use of renewable
energy and energy efficiency - Assessment of each project's product innovation
- Analyzing costs and benefits
- We will identify cost-saving opportunities and
strategies for your business to take advantage of
the potential for low-carbon production through
the monitoring and management of energy.
