Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in India
  • NEET is required.
  • The applicant must be 17 years old when admitted
    to an MBBS programme in India.
  • The candidate's age cannot be more than 25.
  • For general category pupils in the 12th grade,
    the medical candidate must receive 50 of the
    possible points. Candidates for the reserved
    category must score at least 40.
  • The percentages for SC/ST and OBC at AIIMS are
    60 and 45, respectively.
  • The three main disciplines a medical student
    should have taken in 12th year are physics,
    chemistry, and biology.
  • A medical aspirant may also take the JIPMER or
    AIIMS admission exams, the Kerala CEE, the
    Karnataka CET, etc.

Documents Required for MBBS in India
  • Candidates for medicine must be in possession of
    current 10th and 12th grade transcripts.
  • The NEET scorecard is a necessary prerequisite
    for admission to the MBBS programme in India.
  • A valid school transfer certificate, code of
    conduct certificate, medical certificate, health
    check-up certificate, and no criminal record
    certificate are required of medical candidates.
  • One of the prerequisites is to have a passport
    and photocopies that are the same size as a
    passport.
  • A caste certificate stating that the medical
    candidate is SC, ST, or OBC is required for the
    students.
  • Medical candidates must present a bank statement
    from their parents as proof that they will be
    able to cover the admissions fees.
