• Teacher Training Courses
• A great teacher is the one who plays an essential
  role in student achievement. So, the question
  arises of how does a teacher become great? Just
  like the teacher training that is required for
  any specialized profession, teachers must be
  trained. Teacher training is just before they
  enter the classroom, and they also must receive
  ongoing training even as they work in the school.
  From the college level with certification course
  work to the student teaching to the one whose
  ongoing professional development (PD), teachers
  are the ones who are continuously training during
  their careers. There are specific teacher
  training courses for the teachers to do. The
  teacher training course is essential for teachers
  to become great teachers.
• Teacher Training Programs
• All the teacher training programs give new
  teachers the highest chance of success as well as
  to sustain the veteran teachers as they meet the
  unique challenges that they face in education.
  When teachers do not take the teacher training
  programs, then there is a risk that teachers may
  leave the profession early. The other concern is
  that when teacher training is insufficient, then
  the students will suffer the most. Most of the
  teachers get their first education training is at
  the college by taking specific courses that meet
  the state or local certification of the teaching
  requirements.

• All these teacher preparation courses are
  designed to provide those who are interested in
  education with having the background information
  they will need to offer in the classroom. All the
  teacher training programs will include the
  coursework that reviews all the educational
  initiatives such as the Individuals with
  Disabilities Act (IDEA), No Child Left Behind
  (NCLB), Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). There
  will also be the coursework that familiarizes the
  new teachers with the educational terms such as
  Individualized Education Program (IEP), response
  to English Learner (EL), and intervention (RTI).
  The grade level generally organizes academic
  subject-specific training to the teacher. There
  is a focus on literacy and numeracy in early
  childhood and elementary school coursework. All
  those teachers who are interested in the middle
  or secondary school will receive intensive
  teacher training in an academic discipline. All
  teacher training programs offer classroom
  management strategies and also the information on
  student cognitive development and learning
  styles. The coursework may not end after the four
  years of teacher training after graduation. Many
  of the states in India require advanced degrees
  for the teachers in education or a specific
  subject once they have been in the classroom for
  several years.

• Teacher courses after graduation includes a
  student teaching internship as part of the
  college coursework. The number of weeks for the
  practice depends upon the school and the state
  requirements. Student teaching follows the
  gradual release of responsibility (You do, we
  do, I do) model with the help of a trained
  mentor teacher supervisor. This internship allows
  all the student teachers to experience all the
  responsibilities that a teacher has to face.
