About This Presentation
Title:

All about the India name-change procedure

Description:

The name change procedure varies by jurisdiction, but generally involves filing a legal petition with the appropriate court, providing evidence of the reason for the name change (such as marriage, divorce, or personal preference), and publishing notice of the intended name change in a local newspaper. The petitioner may also need to attend a court hearing to explain the reason for the name change. After the court approves the name change, the petitioner will need to update their identification documents and notify relevant parties of the name change, such as employers, banks, and government agencies. It is important to research the specific requirements and procedures for a name change in your jurisdiction. – PowerPoint PPT presentation
