The Frigid Zone - due to the tilt of the earths
axis and the curvature of the earths surface,
this region receives the oblique rays of the sun.
the rays also have to travel for a greater
distance through the atmosphere to reach the
surface. Therefore this region is extremely cold,
and remain frozen through most of the yaer.

Climate of The Frigid zone
The frigid zone in northern hemisphere lies
between Arctic Circle and the Noth pole and in
the southern hemisphere between Antarctic Circle
and south pole. This is the coldest area on the
surface of the earth and covered with snow
throughout the year. In summer the temperature
varies from 3degree to 12 degree.

Natural Vegetation of The Frigid zone
The plants in frigid zone are- mosses, lichens,
grasses, flower bearing plants and berry bearing
shrubs.

Wildlife of The Frigid zone
Polar bears , reindeer, seals, hares, Arctic
fox and the ground squirrel are some animals that
live here.

Humen Group of The Frigid zone
Frigid Zone is a harsh and inhospitable zone
where there is no human stay possible. But then
there are people living there adapting the
extreme climate conditions. The best example for
this can be Antarctica.
