Title: Rummy

1
What are the basic rules of rummy? The basic
rules of rummy are as follows
  • The game is played with a standard deck of 52
    cards.
  • The number of cards dealt to each player depends
on the specific variation of rummy being played.
  • The objective of the game is to form sets and
sequences of cards and to be the first player to
get rid of all your cards.
  • At the beginning of each turn, players draw one
card from either the stock pile or the discard
    pile.
  • Players can then form sets and sequences by
either picking up cards from the discard
  • pile or drawing from the stock pile.
  • A player can also lay off cards onto sets and
sequences that have already been formed by any
player, as long as they have already put down a
set or sequence of their own.
  • Once a player has formed all their cards into
sets and sequences, they can go out by discarding
    one final card face down.
  • The game ends when one player goes out, and the
other players add up the points of their
    remaining cards.
  • The player with the lowest total points is the
    winner.
  • Jokers can be used as wild cards to substitute
for any card in a set or sequence.

It's important to note that there are many
variations of rummy, each with their own specific
rules. It's always a good idea to check the rules
of the specific variation being played to know
the details.
