4BURN-IN TESTING
To assess the reliability and long-term
performance of
electronic devices, we employ burn-in testing. Thi
s the
rigorous testing process involves subjecting
products to elevated temperatures and stress
conditions for an extended period. By doing so,
we can identify any latent defects or weaknesses
that may arise over time, ensuring that the
product withstands demanding operational
environments. By employing the burn-in process,

5FLYING PROBE TESTING
This type of testing is an improvement of the bed
of nails testing and requires no permanent
fixture, which makes it inexpensive. It is a
tried and trued PCB Testing Method. A flying
probe machine can access the ends of components
or unintended vias as test points. The machine
can be programmed to check the value of passive
parts, their voltage measurements, and the
transistor/diode orientation. This method is very
accurate and can measure values at 99 accuracy.

6IN-CIRCUIT TESTING
During in-circuit testing, the PCBAs are tested
while they are still assembled, with the
electrical components mounted
on the board and connected to the the
circuit. The purpose is to verify
- correct installation and connectivity of the
components, as well as to check for any faults
such as open circuits, short circuits, or
incorrect component values. - In-circuit testing is an effective method
for quickly and accurately identifying
manufacturing defects and ensuring the quality
of PCBAs.

7X-RAY INSPECTION
As the name suggests, this type of testing is
performed using X-rays. We employ X-ray systems
capable of 2D and 3D inspection workflow. The
X-ray inspection is ideal for inspecting hidden
joints in underside pads and ball grid arrays
(BGAs). The X-ray inspection helps detect solder
voids and has one of the highest detection rates
of faults, which are not otherwise detectable by
inspection.

8AUTOMATED OPTICAL INSPECTION (AOI)
The automated optical inspection (AOI) uses 2D
or 3D cameras to take images of the PCB. The
image is compared with the images of PCB design
being tested and the database of images of bad
and good boards. The AOI machine can be
integrated at the end of the production
equipment. It helps detect major solder defects,
and is suited for testing mature products in
large batches.

9DESIGN FOR TEST (DFT)
Design for Testing or DFT is a technique which
