What Is Qurbani?
Qurbani, also known as Eid al-Adha or the
Festival of Sacrifice, is a significant
religious practice in Islam. It commemorates the
willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to
sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
Muslims around the world perform Qurbani by
sacrificing an animal, usually a sheep, goat,
cow, or camel, during the Islamic month of Dhul
Hijjah.
