Who We Are
We an Australian based original equipment
manufacturer (OEM), specialising in mid-sized
battery electric mobile equipment, such as our
20-tonne fully electric mine spec wheel loader.
Born out of the mining industry-wide pressure to
decarbonise, BME are helping our customers with a
practical electrification solution for mobile
equipment.

History Of Batt Mobile Equipment
The executive leadership team of Cougar Mining
Group formed Batt Mobile Equipment Pty Ltd in
2016, due to increasing demand for mobile
electrical equipment within the mining industry.
Over the past seven years BME have been supplying
battery electric mobile equipment for some of
Australias industry leading mining companies,
such as South 32, Barminco, Gold Fields and Aeris
Resources.

The BME220 is our third generation 20-tonne fully
electric Integrated Tool Carrier, that combines
an optimal production loader with a flexible
all-rounder. With zero diesel emissions, minimal
noise, reduced vibrations, and low heat output,
the BME 220 is ideal for operating in confined
spaces such as factories and underground
tunnelling.

The BME BIT120 is our second generation 20-tonne
Integrated Tool Carrier, that combines an optimal
production loader with a flexible all-rounder.
With zero diesel emissions, minimal noise,
reduced vibrations, and low heat output, the
BIT120 is ideal for operating underground mining
application.
