Title: How to do Two tone wall painting
1TWO TONE WALL PAINTING WITH EASY STEPS
2Tools required for a two tone wall painting
- A tin of each of your chosen paint colours
- Paint roller
- Paint tray
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Ball of string
- Chalk
- Masking tape
- Paint brushes
- Scissors
3Step 1 Measure up
Mark the spot on your wall where you want the two
colours to blend first. Mark the level across the
wall at regular intervals using your measuring
tape and pencil.
4Step 2 Apply your lighter colour Apply the
lighter colour with a roller to the portion of
the wall you want it to cover, painting just a
little bit over the spot you want the dividing
line to be. Give the paint time to cure.
5Step 3 Chalk up
To cover a piece of string with chalk, run a
length of string down the side of the chalk.
Connect the pencil-noted points by stretching the
string across the wall. Masking tape should be
used to secure the string's ends. To leave a
chalk line across the wall, ping the string after
making sure it is straight.
6Step 4 Mask up
Make sure the first coat of paint has dried
fully. After that, run a strip of masking tape
parallel to the chalk line.
7Step 5 Apply your darker colour Paint the
second part of the wall with the darker hue using
your roller. Make sure that you have painted
slightly past the masking tape's edge with a
paintbrush.
8Step 6 Unveil Remove the masking tape to expose
your new two -tone wall pattern while the paint
is still wet. Remove the masking tape to expose
your new two -tone wall pattern while the paint
