• Geoffrey Hinton, a prominent figure in artificial
  intelligence (AI), has called on governments to
  prevent machines from taking control of society.
• Hinton, known as one of the godfathers of AI,
  left Google in May to speak openly about the
  dangers of AI, particularly after the release of
  ChatGPT, a widely acclaimed AI model.

  Toronto, Hinton emphasized the need for AI
  developers to understand the potential for AI to
  seize control.
• He also highlighted concerns about AI
