About Kihonkai Karate Academy
Kihonkai Karate Academy has been based in
lanarkshire since 1987, over the many years we
have produced,developed and promoted karate
students of all ages and of all levels. Our
classes throughout the local area are designed to
ensure all our members get the best tuition from
fully qualified instructors.
Kihonkai Karate Academy is the first Martial Arts
Group to have achieved South Lanarkshire's
prestigious Club SL award. We also hold
accreditation awards from North Lanarkshire
Council. We continue to work with the Sports
Scotland Active Schools programme, through our
partnership with the national governing body we
strive to maintain and increase our teaching and
coaching qualifications.
