• Im Shalini, and in my artistic journey, I've
  uncovered the transformative power inherent in
  creative activities, with a particular focus on
  the profound learning experience offered by
  wet-on-wet painting in Waldorf education
• This technique involves applying wet paint onto
  moist surfaces, allowing colours to fluidly
  blend, creating harmonious watercolour paintings.

Engaging the Senses

• As an art teacher, I've come to appreciate the
  idea that our souls are a canvas of colours, each
  shade revealing a facet of our inner selves. The
  journey to self-discovery, surprisingly, can be
  embarked upon with the strokes of a paintbrush.
  In the captivating realm of wet-on-wet painting,
  unfolds a beautiful technique that effortlessly
  guides children into the depths of self-awareness.

Creativity on White Canvases

• In these meditative sessions, I guide the
  children through this beautiful technique that
  allows them to find balance without conscious
  effort. Picture this with me as we serve white
  sheets as our canvas. The children, with brushes
  in hand, liberally apply colours onto the wet
  surface, transforming the sheets into a
  playground of uninhibited self-expression,
  forming various free forms beyond their control.

Primary to Secondary Colours

• In this creative journey, the children revel in
  the entire process, finding joy in the fluidity
  of colours. Taking the first step involves
  delving into the world of the three primary
  colours namely red, blue, and yellow.
• It's about letting the child connect with each
  colour individually, savouring their unique
  qualities.
