Breast Implants Singapore - MH Plastic Surgery
Breast implants enhance the size and shape of the
breasts. Women may choose to get breast implants
for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes, such as
after losing breast tissue due to cancer surgery.

Saline and Silicone Implants
Breast implants are classified into three types
traditional saline, structured Saline Silicone
cohesive gel.
Silicone gel-filled implants are made up of
silicone shells that are filled with a plastic
gel. Even though many women claim that silicone
gel implants seem more like natural breasts than
saline implants, they are more dangerous if they
spill.
Silicone shells injected with sterile saltwater
are used to create saline-filled implants. A few
are pre-filled, while others are injected during
the implant procedure.

Breast Implants Costs
The cost of breast implants in Singapore varies
depending on the location, doctor, and type of
implant used. The average cost of breast implants
in Singapore ranges from S7,323 to S16,000 or
more for silicone or saline implants.

?How the Breast Implant Procedure Is Done?
Breast implant surgery is a procedure to enhance
the size shape of the breasts by inserting
artificial devices under the breast tissue or
chest muscle. The surgery is usually done under
general anesthesia takes about one to two
hours.
The surgeon makes an incision in the skin near or
under the breast, creates a pocket for the
implant, inserts the implant, and closes the
incision with stitches.
The recovery time varies depending on the
individual, but most women can resume normal
activities within a few weeks. Some possible
complications of breast implant surgery include
infection, bleeding, scarring, implant rupture,
capsular contracture, and changes in the breast.
