Im Dr. Nikhil Sharma, founder of AlignUs and
for 10 years, I dedicated my life to working
with patients with liver failure due to alcohol
or obesity. They suffered from addictions and as
part of their rehabilitation process, I helped
them to get to a new liver and a second chance
on life. At a certain point, I realized a pattern
- most of the issues that lead to their
addictions were due to unresolved traumas that
occurred in their lives. What if we could
prevent people from suffering major physical
health issues by helping them heal their traumas
and improve their mental health? Our founder, a
physician who experienced personal loss and
addiction, was inspired by his parents legacy of
giving back to underprivileged communities. He
created a platform that combines exercise
challenges with charitable donations, encouraging
mindfulness, and self care while making a
positive impact on the world. AlignUs is more
than just a social media platform, its a
community that empowers and inspires the
collective members to achieve sustained
emotional fulfillment through self-realization
and altruism in helping create a more connected
