  • It is a popular oval-shaped dive site for
    beginners or nonswimmers in Andaman. Tribe Gate
    is located between the channels of Havelock and
    John Lawerence Island. The reef of the dive site
    starts from 3 meters and goes down to 12 meters
    into the sandy bottom. Tribe Gate is popular for
    its multiple species of fishlife and numerous
    habitats of sea anemones. Some popular species in
    Tribe Gate are parrot fish, angelfish, sweetlips,
    clownfish, Nemo fish, barracuda, snappers,
    needlefish, trevally, and wrasse.
  • Turtle Beach
  • It is another popular dive site for scuba diving
    in Havelock. The dive site lies on the western
    coast of Havelock near Elephanta Beach. Turtle
    Beach is known for a garden of multiple species
    of staghorn corals spread over 600 meters
    alongside the coastline. The reefs of the dive
    site start from 2 to 4 meters depending on sea
    tides while some points are deeper consisting of
    a maximum of 12 meters depth.
  • Apart from coral reefs, the dive site also offers
    multiple species of sea dwellers including
    sweetlips, damselfish, butterflyfish, black
    gold angelfish, and many other species. While the
    sandy bottom of the dive site consists of
    lobsters and manta rays.
  • Nemo Reef
  • The reef is the home of colourful Nemo fish and
    the name of the dive site is derived from its
    existence. It is a commonly popular dive site for
    beginners or first-time divers. The dive site is
    located on the shore of Nemo Beach and a little
    further from Havelock Harbour.
  • The reef is known for shallow dives while its
    depth varies 3 to 5 meters.
  • The dive site is divided into two parts, the main
    reef of the dive site lies on the left side while
    the Jeep wreck lies on the right side of Nemo
    Beach. Nemo Reef is good for first- timers to
    explore marine life and to how scuba diving feels
    like.

  • Training is an essential part of your scuba
    diving activity that builds confidence for a safe
    and comfortable dive. Scuba diving training is
    conducted in shallow waters just before the
    actual dive to make you learn basic diving skills
    and to make you comfortable with dive conditions.
    The estimated training time is 30 minutes but may
    go up to 60 minutes depending on your learning
    skills.
