Healthcare providers face a constant challenge
Skin conditions affect numerous people globally,
and as such affect their appearance. ? Due to
this, healthcare providers must pick certain
medications or brands to prescribe to their
patients to overcome their struggles, but this
poses an issue. The dermatology industry is a
complex sector rife with competition. Navigating
the industry can pose multiple struggles for
pharma companies, as one such pharma company
came to understand. To properly maneuver through
this industry, the company contracted Graphene
to utilize its AI to pick up on chatter regarding
the client brand and its competitors so that
healthcare providers would be more inclined to
prescribe their brand. Through the knowledge of
our domain experts and our complex, in-house AI,
we understood that numerous drivers and factors
were affecting the client brands perception
among healthcare providers. We found that the
emergence of a new biologic posed a problem for
the client brand as it was considered an adequate
alternative. Furthermore, it was also found that
those intending to prescribe the new biologic
were unhappy with the current support provided by
the client. Through our actionable insights and
data, the client brand was able to learn what
drivers and negative sentiments to act on, thus
allowing them to gain the upper hand on their
competitors by enacting the necessary changes.
