figures, the meanings of patterns and the

but political turmoil in the 80's gave him the
urge to draw for freedom of expression. He
dropped the study of rocks to be an artist

was as a political cartoonist for the Turkish
Daily News - He received 25 awards in national
and international car- toon competition and he
estab-lished a cartoon school
