NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME (NDIS)
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
is a government-funded program in Australia that
provides support for people with disability. The
NDIS provides funding for necessary supports and
services to help people with disability live more
independently and participate in their
communities. The NDIS covers a range of support
and services, including myotherapy, lymphatic
drainage, and remedial massage.
To access NDIS funding for myotherapy, lymphatic
drainage, and remedial massage, the person with
disability must first be eligible for the NDIS
and have a plan in place. The persons NDIS plan
will outline the supports and services they are
eligible for, and the funding available for each
support. Myotherapy can be included in the
persons NDIS plan if it is deemed reasonable and
necessary to help the person achieve their goals
and live a more fulfilling life.

massagemay not cover all costs associated with
the service, and participants may need to pay a
portion of the costs themselves. It is also
important to note that not all myotherapy
services may be approved by the NDIS, and
participants may need to choose a service
provider who is registered with the NDIS to
