WHY VISIT VALLEY OF FLOWERS TREK?
The Valley of Flowers Trek is a popular and
enchanting trekking location in the Garhwal
Himalayas. It offers stunning views of colourful
flowers, green pastures, and the snow-capped
Himalayas. Situated at 14,100 ft. above sea
level, the Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site.

Day01
Reach Joshimath
Our beautiful journey will begin in the morning
from the heart of Uttarakhand in Dehradun. The
distance we will be covering is around 300 km
from Rishikesh to Joshimath. It will take 8-9
hours to reach our destination. The trip is long
but it will be worth it as you will be
witnessing some picturesque views throughout the
way. On our journey we will be crossing 4 holy
rivers Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag,
and Nandprayag, providing plenty of
photographic opportunities and life-changing
experiences. Thus, be alert and prepare your
cameras to record the amazing beauty of this
heavenly journey.

Day02
Joshimath-Pulna-
Ghangaria
The morning will start with a healthy breakfast,
leaving our rooms, and a 15-minute drive to
Pulna. We begin our walk from Pulna towards
Ghangaria. The distance we need to cover today
is 10 kilometers, which will take approximately
5-6 hours. The trail leading to Ghangaria is
well-marked, making the journey easy. However,
constant ascent can become exhausting. The
walking road to Ghangaria is filled with little
dhabas, pilgrims heading to Hemkund Sahib, and
an aggressive flow of the Pushpavati River. You
will also be surrounded by trees during the
trip, which makes the journey more pleasant.

Day03
Ghangaria-Valley of
Flowers-Ghangaria
The trek is around 4 km from Ghangaria. Here,
the Pushpawati River flows beneath the wooden
bridge, providing a breathtaking display of
nature's beauty. The valley will provide you
with breathtaking views and experiences that
will surpass anything you've ever imagined. The
Himalayan peak views are magnificent. At the
Valley of Flowers journey, you can also
discover several local flowers such as dog
flowers, blue poppy, hooked stick seed, white
leaf, meadow geranium, hog foot, and Himalayan
rose.

Day04 Ghangaria-Hemkund
Sahib-Ghangaria On the fourth day, We will wake
up early, eat breakfast and begin our hike to
Hemkud Sahib, which is around 6 kilometers
away. Hemkund Sahib is one of the most praised
Sikh sanctuaries it is the world's highest
Gurudwara, at an elevation of 15,000 feet. While
trekking from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib, you
will come across multiple tea vendors and a
Dhaba. Brahma Kamal blooms widely along this
route. With a modest incline, the climb is
continuous. It will take us approximately 3 to
4 hours to reach Hemkund Sahib.

Day05
Ghangaria-Pulna-
Joshimath
Today is our last day of the trek. We will trek
down from Ghangaria to Pulna. The distance we
will be covering is 10 km. and it will take 5-6
hours. Once we reach Pulna we will head back to
Joshimath. We spend our night in the hotel so
you can get some good rest. You can recall all
the memories of this trek and the quality time
you spent here. Valley of Flowers will be the
ultimate trek for you with breathtaking views
with a walk in nature. Get some good sleep as
we will leave in the next morning.

Day06
Departure from
Joshimath
Our beautiful journey comes to an end today. We
will be having breakfast in the morning and
will check out from our rooms. We will head
back to Rishikesh. The travel journey is 300 km
and it will take around 8-9 hours to reach. We
will be reaching Rishikesh by evening or night
so if you have to travel further make prior
arrangements.

Exclusion Any kind of Travel / Health Insurance
(Trail Trekker India strictly recommend each
traveller to please carry your own travel /
health insurance). Any Meals /Snacks / Beverages
in during trip. Any of Cost for Airfare, Train
fare. Any kind of medical expenses. Any tips,
laundry, Phone call, liquors, mineral water,
camera fee or any other personal nature expenses.
Airport pickup and drop services (Will be
subject to additional cost). Transportation from
Rishikesh to Rishikesh (subject to add.
Cost). Backpack offloading charges, the backpack
should not weigh more than 10 kgs.
Suitcases/strollers/duffel bags will not be
allowed (Subject to additional cost) payment

Accommodation Triple / Quad sharing. Meals as
specified in the itinerary (it will be basic
Indian vegetarian Meals) Breakfast/Lunch/Evening
Snacks and Dinner Day 2,3,4,5 Day 1 Dinner and
Day 6 Breakfast. Experienced Trekking Guide.
Experience trekking Cook for the Trek. Trekking
Crew. Trekking Permits and Permissions.

Points To Note
If there is any unprecedented hike in the cost of
transport, Local Union, Government, Air
(including fuel surcharge) or accommodation made
by any parties other than Trail Trekker India.
It will also affect the cost. The additional
unprecedented cost will be the responsibility of
the Client. Trail Trekker India shall not be
responsible for any change in the itinerary due
to landslides, Flight, Train, Bus Cancellations,
Weather conditions the additional cost incurred
will be borne by the clients. Please note the
quote for these programs has been quoted and
calculated as per the current tax structure, any
changes/ amendments, increase in the tax
structure, which will be imposed by the
government of India, will affect the quotation
and this will be additional cost to be borne by
the clients. Any special assistance which might
have to be provided due to the Natural calamity
or Emergency conditions will be carried out by
our Trail Trekker India or our operational
partner on ground as required due to safety or
situational demands with or without prior
discussion with clients given its nature. The
cost of such emergency operations will be the
sole responsibility of the Client. Please note
trekking / driving time given in the program are
approximate and it may vary due to break for
refreshments, photography, bad weather and Road
conditions Pre Packing list will be shared with
you once you have booked and confirmed the
trek. Don not carry any expensive belongings,
lockers storage facilities are not liable and
guaranteed, please be responsible for your own.

Risk and Liabilities

• Clients shall agree that Trail Trekker India
  shall not be held responsible for consequences of
  natural calamities, weather condition, failure
  of scheduled airline, detention and delays due to
  quarantine, strike, theft, force major, civil
  disturbance, government restriction or
  regulation, accident by aircraft, car, bus or
  any other form of transport relating to program
  schedule. The trekkers understand that such
  situations may occur, and we will inform you of
  the situation as soon as we have knowledge of it.
  The right is reserved to cancel or alter any
  package as conditions require, all additional
  cost occurs in such case will fully be borne by
  the travelers. Also, Trail Trekker India shall
  not be held responsible for any loss/damage of
  your personal belongings.
