switch sources, they must re-pair since they can

multi-point pairing or assign your Alexa device a

Pair a Bluetooth Speaker With the Amazon Echo

• To enable pairing mode, turn on your external
  Bluetooth speaker.
• Access Alexa through the Alexa app (or via the
  alexa.amazon.com web app).
• Access the settings menu by tapping on More in
  the bottom bar.
• Go to the device Settings tab and choose an
  Alexa device.
• Select Bluetooth from the menu.
• Select Pair Up a Device.
• You can also now see a list of your external
  devices. To pair, tap the screen.

Attach Your Phone to Echo and Alexa Over Bluetooth

• You can start with a smartphone or tablet that
  runs iOS or Android.
• Go to Settings and select Bluetooth from the
  menu. Turn on Bluetooth and place the device near
  your Amazon Echo.
• You can ask Alexa to pair by saying, Alexa,
  pair. When you do so, Alexa will enter pairing
  mode and start searching for nearby Bluetooth
  devices.
• When pairing the two for the first time, you can
  find the Echo speaker in the new devices list.
  Android and iOS devices usually have this option
  at the bottom of their Bluetooth settings menus.
• A phone or tablets Bluetooth connection list
  will show the Echo device once the two have
  established a connection. In the settings menu,
  you can manually connect over Bluetooth or, you
  can say, Alexa, pair device name to
  reconnect.
• You can disconnect from Bluetooth by saying,
  Alexa, disconnect from Bluetooth. Using the
  touchscreen on an Echo Show or Spot, you can pair
  it to your phone.
