• Under the bylaw, current and potential STR
  operators must hold a business licence with the
  City by October 1, 2024.
• The new provincial regulation came into effect on
  May 1, 2024 and restricts STRs stays of less
  than 90 consecutive days to a residents
  principal residence plus one additional rental
  unit on the same property, such as a secondary
  suite or coach house.
