material, typically in pellet form, is fed into a
heated barrel where it is melted and
mixed. Injection The molten material is
injected under high pressure into a mold cavity
through a nozzle. The pressure ensures that the
material fills every part of the
cavity. Cooling The material is allowed to cool
and solidify inside the mold. This process forms
the material into the shape of the mold
cavity. Ejection Once the material has cooled
and hardened, the mold opens, and the newly
formed part is ejected. Trimming and Finishing
Any excess material or sprues are removed, and
the part may undergo additional finishing
processes to meet specific requirements.
