2Description
The purpose of this book is to provide a source
of information on radiographic technique in small
animal practice for use by veterinary students,
by practitioners and by their technical
assistants. The format presents the
more theoretical aspects of radiographic
techniques in the first part of the book and an
atlas on technique and positioning in the second
part. The author has tried to keep the
theoretical concepts that are necessary for an
understanding of radiographic technique in
practical perspective in an effort to make
their consumption more tolerable. The atlas on
technique and positioning is arranged according
to regional anatomy and, in most cases,
pertinent radiographic anatomy is illustrated by
line drawing overlays and labels. No attempt has
been made to illustrate pathologic anatomy except
where illustration of a particular technique is
enhanced by its use. From the Author's Preface
