PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION - MAXXUM 5100 SERIES All
points mentioned below are to be checked and if
necessary corrected prior to the delivery of the
machine to the customer. (Please find exact
details in the Operators Manual)
1. Cooling System
A. Check coolant level with the engine cold and not running. Replenish if necessary
B. CheCk the heater control and engine shut-off valve 0
c. Check all connections for leaks 0
D. Check V-belt tension 0
E. Check anti-freeze concentration 0
2. Oil Levels and Lubricants
A. Engine 0
B. Transmission 0
c. MFD Differential 0
D. MFD Planetary Gears O
E. Check all filler/level/drain plugs for tightness 0
F. Check for external oil leaks 0
G. Grease all lubrication points, linkage threads, bolts, pins and cables
H. Apply graph ite to the door and window hinges and the door locks.

3. Engine A.
  • Check condition and tightness of all hoses
    between air cleaner and engine
  • Check that the air cleaner elements are
    correctly installation
  • Check Low and High idle speeds

High Idle Speed 2400 rpm
  1. Check operation of all engine controls hand and
    foot throttle and engine stop control
  2. Check operation of instruments and warning lights
  3. Drain water trap and add feel

  • Check tread width for correct setting in
    accordance with the customer request
  • Check all steering connections - mecnanical and
    hydraulic
  • Check toe in (MFD - 0 -2 mm)
  • Check steering and oscillation stops
  • Check steering arm and tie rod bolt tor correct
    torque setting
  • Check tilt and telescope devices on the steering
    column

5. Electrical Equipment A.
  • Check operation of all lights, turn signals,
    horn, staner, alternator and hazard warning
    lights
  • B. Check battery electrolyte level and state
    ofcharge.(Re- charge if required)
  • G. Check cable connections at the battery for
    tightness
  • Check the battery is securely located
  • Check the function of the MFD-switch and
    differential lock control
  • Check operation of safety stan switch. (Starting
    the engine must only be possible if the
    forward/reverse switch is in neutral position.)
  • Check operation of ventilation/heating/air
    conditioning
  • Check the windscreen wiper/washer
  • Ensure digital instrument cluster is programmed
    with the correct constants
  • J. Check the operator presence switCh (PIN JJF
    1057368 and after)

6. Transmission A.
  • Check the operation/adjustment of transmission
    clutch pedal
  • B. Check the operation of the PTO control
    (on/off) and the guards
  • Check the automatic kick out of the PTO control
    lever after turning off the engine
  • Check the differential lock engagement/disengagem
    ent and the warning light automatic
    disengagement when pressing either brake pedal
  • Check operation/adjustment of foot brake pedals
    ensure that the brake pedal interlock works
    correctly
  • Check performance of park and toot brake
  • Check warning light and audible alarm for the
    park brake
