The term Industry 4.0 has come to be known as a
synonym for the transformation and modernization
of industrial processes. Industry 4.0 marks the
fourth industrial revolution, in which digital
technologies are integrated into manufacturing
and production.An example of Industry 4.0 can be
seen in smart factories where cyber-physical
systems monitor physical processes and make
decentralized decisions. They are highly
automated factories distinguished by
connectivity, allowing machines to communicate
with each other and human operators.

IoT is a crucial part of Industry 4.0. IoT is a
system of connected devices that can gather and
share information. IoT in industries include such
devices as sensors, actuators, smart machines
aimed at optimizing and overseeing the production
process. To offer an illustration, IoT sensors
can be used to monitor machine performance in
real-time thereby providing data which will be
examined to predict the need for maintenance and
hence reduce expensive downtimes. This predictive
maintenance ability provides considerable
